How do you craft an herbal smoking blend?
Great question! Traditional herbal smoking blends consist of three parts: base, supportive and flavoring herbs.
Base herbs tend to be neutral, light, stringy, or fluffy; they serve as a cushion for other herbs. (40-60% of your blend)
Supportive herbs, also refer to “kicker” usually have more potency and can have positive benefits with anxiety, digestion, lungs and the nervous system. (30% of your blend)
Flavoring herbs are designed to spark the taste buds & improve the aftertaste. (10-15% of your blend)

What herbs do you recommend?
As an herbal base, I recommend Mullein, Damiana, Gotu Kola, Mugwort or Raspberry leaves
.
These provide a neutral & smooth smoke that burns well. These can effectively replace tobacco and are generally used in herbal cigarettes.
For supportive effects, I recommend White Sage, Wild Dagga Flowers, Blue Lotus and Catnip.
These are usually used for their health benefits or depressants properties. Supportive herbal smoke can be harder on the throat without a base herb.
For stronger effects, I recommend Cannabis (if legal) or a custom smoking blend with CBD.
THC and CBD have stronger pain relieving properties. It is very difficult to reproduce the head high of THC with herbal alternatives.

Are herbal blends as strong as Cannabis?
The short answer is no, Cannabis has been cultivated for thousands of year in a way to potentiate its psychoactive effect. THC and CBD are stronger than most compounds you’ll find in other plants.
However, you can create powerful herbal blends using hemp or cannabis flowers with alternatives listed on our website.
Is smoking healthy?

What is a hallucinogen?

Are these herbs legal?
While most psychoactive herbs here are legal, your local laws might differ. Unless you are from Louisiana, your chances are high that these are legal. (notable exceptions = Cannabis & Kratom)
